Holistic, Integrative Therapy for Adults and Teenagers

Hi, I’m Brigitta Kravalik

I am a Counselling Therapist providing online individual therapy for adults and teenagers, specializing in Integrative Mental Health with a holistic perspective.

I’m guided by a strong passion to empower and support people who are struggling with changes on their life journey. I am passionate about teaching people how to discover their inner creativity to embrace who they really are, and how to create their next chapter in life to go where they are headed with courage and fulfillment.

I specialize in helping people facing various challenges, with a particular focus on individuals navigating Life Transitions and seeking Personal Growth whether adult or teenager.

As a counsellor, art therapist, group therapist, spiritual guide, and world traveller with over 15 years therapy experience, I work with individuals and groups who are ready to do the deep healing work. To be a therapist is more than a job to me. It is a calling, a passion, and my mission. I want my work to stand as a beacon of hope, dedicated to assisting individuals on their journey towards emotional healing, personal growth, and empowerment.

What is ‘working with me’ like

Connection, Curiosity, Agency, Accountability, Credibility and Creativity

Entering therapy is taking a huge first step in what can feel like a vulnerable journey. I offer an accepting, supportive, and warm approach that helps you find strength, confidence, and lasting change. Every client is unique; therefore, I use an open-minded, integrative, mindfulness-based method to provide effective support. I encourage you to face vulnerability with compassion and courage, leading to real shifts in your life.

Recognizing life’s continuous transitions, I take a holistic approach to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress. I combine various therapeutic approaches to create a personalized, intuitive intervention for each client. My holistic perspective considers the mind, body, and spirit as one, utilizing trauma processing, mindfulness techniques, non-verbal methods, and creative expression.

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential. In a safe and respectful environment, I guide you through life’s transitions and facilitate meaningful personal development. Together, we build your strengths, coping resources, self-awareness, self-esteem, and healing, helping you live your best life.

My Therapy Perspective

I believe we’re all born with the universal human creativity. We can all shape the life we’re meant for. You’re an artist at heart. The only thing that you need is the skill and courage to unleash it.

This perspective emphasizes the role of holistic, integrative, intuitive therapy in helping make positive changes, achieving personal growth, and working towards goals. The Art of Life Therapy’s therapeutic approaches focus on empowerment, self-discovery, and personal transformation.

Life is art. You are the artist of your own life. YOU yourself are your greatest work of art. I am looking forward to joining you through the process.

Are you ready for the change?

How My Passion Developed

I grew up in Hungary, in the middle of Eastern Europe, facing challenging times due to childhood trauma and frequent rejection. The struggle to fit in and the anxiety of being rejected left me with feelings of hopelessness and shame. However, a turning point came when I discovered dance and performance. Through dancing, I found a way to express myself and connect with a sense of oneness. As I lost myself in the movement, I felt a deep connection to everything around me – the ground, the air, my partners, the sounds, and the energy of the audience. This experience of oneness was profound, akin to a newborn’s perception of the world and it changed my life.

Dancing allowed me to shed my anxious and insecure self, paving the way for success personal growth. Over time, therapy helped me shed shame and develop self-respect. I learned to live authentically from my essence, which led to incredible transformations. Recognizing the value of living authentically, I came to understand that mistaking self-absorption for true living devalues and desensitizes the richness of life.

After many years of professional dance, teaching dance, as well as engaging in recreational and therapeutic work, I have spent the last 15 years with therapy work with adults, youth, and children, both as individuals and in groups, from various countries in Europe and Canada. As a therapist my goal is to assist others in harnessing their inner creativity and connecting with their authentic selves, thus enabling them to heal and to craft and live their best possible life.

You are so much more than you imagine.
